Service line

Payroll that is right the first time, every month.

Payroll is the service where errors are least forgiving. They are visible to every employee in the same month, and they attract statutory penalties. We run it accordingly.

On our own payroll platform, by specialists who make the statutory filings every month rather than occasionally, and supervised by people who can advise on the employment law question behind an unusual calculation instead of simply processing it.

We deliver on either of two bases. Where you have your own Jordanian company, we run payroll for it. Where you do not, and do not want one, we can employ the staff ourselves as employer of record. The processing, compliance and reporting are identical; only the employing party differs.

We never hold your salary funds. As a matter of firm policy we do not act as a funds custodian. We produce the payment file, upload it to your own bank account and support you through approval, so the money moves directly from you to the employee and to the authority. You stay in control of it and our role stays clean.

Worth knowing

Pay cycles. Monthly payroll, twelve cycles a year, is the established norm in Jordan and is the basis on which we deliver.

What we need from you. Change data by the cut-off date in the agreed format, approval of the preliminary calculation within the agreed window, and the payment account funded. Everything else is ours.

Contentious terminations. Where a termination is disputed, that is legal work. We work in association with Dar Al-Masri Law and can make the introduction, with the payroll and entitlement position already documented.

Payroll in the West Bank

We deliver payroll in the West Bank through our own professional staff based in Ramallah. Not a referral arrangement, not a local correspondent.

It matters here more than most places. The regulatory framework is layered, parts of it are in flux, and outcomes depend on knowing how a rule is applied in practice and being able to deal with the authority in person. Providers without genuine local presence tend to discover this at the worst possible moment.

  • Employer registration and employee enrolment with the relevant Palestinian authorities
  • Full gross to net, with parallel runs reconciled line by line before the first live payroll
  • Administered in Israeli new shekels, Jordanian dinars and United States dollars, singly or in combination
  • Itemised payslips in English or Arabic, or both
  • Income tax withholding computed, reported and remitted within statutory deadlines
  • Social insurance, provident fund and end of service arrangements administered as they stand
  • End of service entitlements accrued under the Palestinian Labour Law
  • Joiners, leavers, final settlements, leave, off-cycle runs and year end

How it is contracted. Engagements are contracted, administered and invoiced from Amman, and are therefore subject to Jordanian tax treatment. As in Jordan, we do not take custody of salary funds.

The position on contributory social security in the West Bank has changed over time and practical arrangements differ from employer to employer, so we advise on where it stands at the point of engagement rather than assuming it.

For a company operating on both sides, the two run as one engagement: one team, one point of contact, one set of reporting, and group consolidation handled internally rather than between two unconnected providers.
